Tristan sighed heavily as he wheeled himself inside of the local bar...the one where all this crap began. Muttering several curse words under his breath, he made his way to the table, pulling out some money and tossing it onto the table before unhooking the latch on his guitar case (which was held on with bubblegum) and quietly slipped the instrument out before tuning and swiftly beginning to play. He looked up with a start as he noticed a stout waiter looking at him curiously. What do you want? I'm not poisonous...Ugh, just get me a six pack of Budweiser, he snarled, dropping his gaze back to the guitar before shaking himself off, straightening his leather jacket and Beatles tee with the single motion.

Cariana de Onn, she said shortly. With a slightly flirty grin she added, Cari if you want. Best way to manipulate a guy was to get through his head and into his heart -- which you could then proceed to crack like very old, very weak wood. First lesson ever learned.

Chase raised a brow at the woman before he spoke, his voice soft and quiet. So...exactly who are you? he asked, suspicious of this newcomer. As far as he was concerned, neither the Clanks nor the Old School would even think about sending him so much as a get better soon card...much less a caregiver. And the humans wouldn't since they didn't even know he existed....

Cari bit her lip and looked at the collapsed girl, shaking her head slightly and looking at themwith a sort of defeated look. I... can't do a thing. Sorry.

Chase sighed, nodding as he quietly walked up to Tristan before toeing him gently, smiling weakly as the man looked up at him. So, exactly what is going on here, Tristan? he asked quietly, raising a brow as Tristan quietly got back into his chair, shook himself off, and replied.

Tristan sighed heavily, looking down at the ground as he replied, shrugging. No idea, really, she just collapsed.... he said softly, raising a brow at his caretaker, the unspoken question obvious (So...you can fix this...right?).

Cari shook her head and stood still, the air around her itself tensing in a slight reminder that she cpold... possibly... overpower this guy... of need be. She looked at the guy that had just come in and blinked. I don't know -- ask him, why don't ya?

Tristan growled quietly as he heard the knock, eying Cari before he looked back down at the other girl, muttering under his breath. However, he continued growling, looking for all the world like a dog guarding their hunt...oh...wait...he technically was a dog guarding its hunt.... Well...maybe not his "hunt...."

Meanwhile, Chase wandered up to the door, knocking quietly. Without waiting for an answer, he simply unhooked the key ring on his belt, unlocking the door and walking in, his jaw dropping at the scene within. After a moment of recovery, he shook himself off, raising a brow at the woman whom he guessed was his adoptive father's caregiver. Um...exactly what's going on here...?

Tristan raised a brow once more before shaking himself off and rolling his eyes a bit harshly. I already told you, I get it, I wasted your time. You can kindly leave any time you want, he snapped dully, closing his eyes as he backed away abit, muttering to himself and looking at her coldly.

Robyn felt a small twinge of guilt and turned back slightly, her eyes worried... why now? Why did she have to start having a freaking conscience now? She winced slightly and bit her lip, deep furrows lining her face as she frowned darkly, eyes worried. I...

Tristan frowned, nodding and sighing as he slumped over a bit, raising a brow at her. Okay, fine, sorry. I get it, sorry for holding you up...nice meeting you, he muttered weakly, all traces of the charismatic spark which usually radiated from his now gone.

You're not fooling anyone, she snapped, shaking her head again and smiling faintly when she realized that... yes, she could retreat into herself and threaten.... Anyways, have a nice life without me.

Tristan sighed, raising a brow at her and smiling weakly. Maybe, who knows? I'm a rather out-of-the-ordinary guy...but...I guess you could say that, he said, doing his best to give her a convincingly serious look and only succeeding in looking like an idiot.

Are you asking me to stay? Robyn replied sarcastically, shaking her head, crossing her arms, and standing back, eying him with a wary mood. She was conceivably the only human here...

Tristan sighed, looking at her and raising a brow once more. I don't know, nothing really. I guess I was just hoping for someone to talk to or something like that....you don't exactly have to stay, he murmured quietly, coughing once more as he muttered under his breath.

What's the point in staying? she responded bleakly.

Tristan frowned, sighing heavily as he muttered under his breath, quietly picking up the weapon and slipping it back into its casing before nodding at the retreating guest. Leaving so soon? he asked quietly, trying and failing to smile weakly, coughing a bit as he made his way back towards that one spot he loved.

Tristan smirked, folding his arms and looking at her calmly. Fine, shoot me, see what happens. But it's because that's charged off the natural energy that comes from Lycans, he said, still wildly calm for a person cornered with a gun pointed at their forehead.

Excuse me? And why couldn't I work it? Because I'm a girl? Robyn's eyes flashed dangerously and she calmly leveled the gun off to where it was pointing at the center of Tristan;s forehead.

Tristan sighed, muttering as he raised a brow at the girl. That might be true, especially if you pull the trigger. Just give the thing back, okay? You probably can't even work it., he said, not realizing that his words could have the exact opposite of the effect desired.

Stunguns are worse than tasers, Robyn said nonchalantly, holding the gun slightly out of reach and smirking. Hey, why wouldn't she try to get on this guy's nerves? It wasn't liek she had anything really better to do...
